Some details of the dwelling layout at Kostenki 2

The dwelling at Kostenki 2 was explored by P. I. Boriskovsky in 1953 andpublished in 1963. The dwelling lies in ruins because of recent economic activities. Relyingon archival materials, this paper establishes the boundaries of the habitation area insidethe dwelling, the spatial distribution of the ash matter in the dwelling and the location ofbones embedded in the soil. The burial chamber was a separate structure not attached tothe dwelling.
