Some debatable issues of the conceptual apparatus of the theory of overcoming counteraction to the detection and investigation of crimes

The author points out the urgent necessity for the preliminary investigation bodies to be provided with timely and appropriate to the existing realities methodological recommendations for overcoming counteraction, since the forms, types and methods of counteraction themselves are constantly being improved. Taking it into account, on the basis of theoretical material, the article analyzes the scientists' approaches to the definition of the term «counteraction to the investigation of crimes», highlights the debatable aspects of the definitions and proposes the author's definition of the term «counteraction to the detection and investigation of crimes».
