Some results and prospects radiocarbon dating Elshanskaya culture forest-steppe Volga region

The authors of the article analyze the results of radiocarbon dating of Elshanskaya culture of the forest-steppe of Volga region. They argue that it would be necessary to refuse the earliest and late datings of monuments. The authors confirm their hypothesis of the genesis of Elshanskaya culture in the first half of 6th millennium BC and its existence till the beginning of 5th millennium BC.
