The article deals with unsolved and little-investigated problems of the history of the pre-revolutionary Russian school and pedagogics, which represent the third part of the so-called historiographical triad proposed by the author. The bibliography and historiography of the pre-revolutionary Russian school and pedagogics, some further research tendencies and subject matters of publications are considered.
