Some features of forensic support for the prosecutor activities in the criminal process

The author reveals the provision on the need to apply the achievements and knowledge of criminalistics, skills and abilities in the direct activities of the prosecutor to achieve the objectives of criminal proceedings. It was determined that the forensic support of the prosecutor's activities is implemented mainly in two directions: the first one includes improving the process of proving in court and improving the assessment of the collected evidence (forensic support of the proving process) and the second one is maintaining public prosecution. It includes the application of certain provisions of forensic technology, tactics and methods both in the pre-trial and in the judicial stages of criminal proceedings.
