Some features of the legal status of the president of the Russian Federation

The article examines the features of the legal status of the President of the Russian Federation, based on the provisions of the Basic Law of the country - the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the powers and functions of the President. Also, the article focuses on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which were adopted at the all-Russian vote on July 1, 2020. The scientific novelty of the research lies in carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which made it possible to determine the features of the legal status of the President of the Russian Federation.
