Some features of proceedings in a criminal case with the participation of a minor victim

State policy, any area of legal regulation in the Russian Federation is aimed at protecting childhood. Undoubtedly, criminal proceedings with all its stages and characteristics are stressful for any child, because, as a rule, he has to remember again about events that clearly cannot be regarded as positive. The criminal procedural legislation is designed in such a way that the direct participation of a minor victim in criminal proceedings is carried out only in exceptional cases and provides for special measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of minor victims. This article is devoted to the consideration of some of the features of criminal proceedings with the participation of a minor victim.
