On court consideration of criminal bribery cases in higher education

Bribery is the most common type of corruption in higher education institutions. Despite the high degree of latency of such offences, every year the courts consider criminal cases against both student bribe-givers and university professors . The article provides information on the specifics of the criminal cases of bribery court’s consideration in the system of higher education, including the peculiarities associated with the termination of criminal cases, the issues related to the qualification of crimes in this category are resolved, circumstances to be taken into account in sentencing.
