Some indicators of soil fertility in the Central Aran economic region of Azerbaijan

Diagnostic indicators of selected soil types in the Central Aran economic region are presented and analyzed based on the soil map of Azerbaijan M: 1:100000 2022. The areas of reclaimed, irrigated, and also possible lands of the Kura-Araz Lowland for agricultural use have been identified. Data on fertile soils are provided. Full descriptions of 11 soil types are given. The main diagnostic indicators are given using the example of gray-brown and meadow-gray soils.
