Some problems of functioning of special economic zones in Russia

The emergence of the mechanism of special economic zones in Russia is associated with several factors, such as: attracting investment in the Russian economy, the development of high technologies, socio-economic development of regions, the creation of new jobs. In Russia, despite the rather long existence of special economic zones, the results of their functioning are significantly behind the planned indicators. The article discusses the main problems of the functioning of special economic zones in Russia and concludes that there is a need for improvement in this area.
