Some problems of assigning forensic psychiatric expertise

The work is devoted to the study of legal aspects of the appointment of forensicpsychiatric expertise. The identified problems are: the unresolved issue of the moment ofappointment of forensic psychiatric examination, difficulties in posing questions to the expert, thelack of possibility to appoint a forensic psychiatric examination of a witness and so on. The object of the work is public relations arising in criminal proceedings in the appointmentof this type of expertise. The purpose of the study is to outline the directions of further improvement of the legislationon forensic psychiatric examination.
