Some problems of filing an appeal in the criminal process of Russia

The appeal stage currently has many gaps in the legal regulation that must be addressed in order to improve the institution of appeal in criminal proceedings. The elimination of these shortcomings will contribute both to the effective implementation of the principle of adversarial proceedings in the courts of appeal, and to achieving the purpose of criminal proceedings, enshrined in the article of the code of criminal procedure.
