Some problems of application of administrative responsibility measures for offense in the field of communications and information

This paper examines the problems of applying administrative liability measures for offenses in the field of communications and information. Violation of rules in the information sphere may have varying degrees of public danger and the punishment for the offense must be proportionate. In addition, not only individuals but also legal entities, including organizations providing services in the field of information technology, bear legal liability. Administrative liability for offenses in the information sphere is regulated by the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. However, given the rapid pace of technological development and changes in the information sphere, it is necessary to constantly update the legislation and adapt it to new conditions. The article offers recommendations for improving law enforcement practice in this area.
