Some problems of application of security measures provided by the Criminal Procedure Code of the RF to the victims

This article highlights some of the problems of application of security measures stipulated in the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RF to the victims in criminal proceedings. Issues of victims ' participation in criminal proceedings are updated. Both positive and negative aspects of measures ensuring the safety of victims in the criminal procedure code of the Russian Federation are reviewed. Special attention is paid to ensuring the confidentiality of information about the victim during the investigation of criminal cases. Some ways of improvement are proposed in the article. The conclusion is made that further improvement of the criminal procedure law and law enforcement practice is necessary.
