Some problems in performance of forensic medical examinations for living persons' spleen injuries

In this article, the authors analyze a case from the expert practice of the Department of victims, accused and other persons of KGBZ (Krasnoyarsk region state institution of health service) of Krasnoyarsk regional Bureau of forensic medical examination. The victim had a closed blunt abdominal injury, represented by a two-stage (delayed) rupture of the spleen. The authors present guidelines for law enforcement bodies, which will allow to prepare materials about forensic medical examination of living persons in case of a two-stage rupture of the spleen so that judicial-medical experts can detail the mechanism of the injury, determine prescription of the formation, the multiplicity of traumatic exposures and answer other questions during the initial examination.
