Some differences in the civil nature of production sharing agreements and contracts agreements

The relevance of this research topic lies in the fact that the differentiation of the contract and the production sharing agreement is due to both scientific and practical interests. The article discusses the essence and features of the production sharing agreement and the contract. Their similarities and distinctive features are analyzed. Based on the conducted research, it is concluded that the production sharing agreement is a special type of civil contract, similar to the contract, but also having differences with it. The atypical nature of the production sharing agreement lies in the fact that it is used as a civil construction in an area that has traditionally been regulated and regulated by public law norms. However, this circumstance does not change its civil nature.
