Some results of complex surgical-and-conservative correction of foot deformities of different genesis

The possibility of complex medicamentous therapy of leg and foot neurological disorders for the purpose of improvement of the results of treatment in patients with feet deformities of different etiology using the technique of transosseous external wire-and-half pin osteosynthesis was considered by us. 14 patients with fibular and tibial nerve involvements of mixed axon-demyelinizing type with different expressiveness. Taking the latter into consideration an individual medicamentous scheme of treatment was made, which included Cortexin, Actovegin, Proserinum, vitamins of B group and nicotinic acid. The dynamic control by electromyography for medicamentous correction effectiveness showed that fibular and tibial nerve involvements regressed and in some cases stopped completely as a result of the therapy made.
