Some results of check of the polarizing - acoustic method of definition of residual stresses

Results of investigation of residual stresses in a vicinity of a welding juncture of a steel plate and in samples of an organic glass are resulted by the polarizing -acoustic method based on law of change of relative size of speed of the polarized cross ultrasonic wave from mechanical stress are given. It is shown that sizes and signs on the residual stresses measured in specified stuffs by a polarizing -acoustic method, will be co-ordinate with the data received by methods of unload, ultrasonic investigations and calculations, and also with a pattern polarization optical method isochrome.
