Some modern problems of wage indexation in conditions of increasing inflation

The article analyzes the legislative acts that ensure an increase in the level of wagemaintenance. The issues of wage indexation, which are regulated and not regulated by the state inthe budgetary and commercial spheres, are disclosed. Examples of judicial practice are givenand the problems of the actual implementation of wage indexation are highlighted. The size ofwage indexation is compared with the actual level of inflation. In order to eliminate the existingcontradictions regarding employers’ obligations to index wages and provide employees withguarantees to increase the level of real wages, recommendations are proposed, includingamendments to legislative acts.
