Ways of formation of two-part names of medicinal plants in the Yakut language (in terms of yarrow and wormwood)

The article discusses the semantic features and methods of formation of two-part names of yarrow and wormwood in the Yakut language, growing in the territory of the Far North of Yakutia. The principles of their nomination are described, providing various variations on the basis of appearance; form, in which all parts are present; functional features and growing place, which contain a comprehensive description of individual morphological elements of plant realities. A unique material is presented on the use of yarrow and wormwood in Yakut traditional medicine. Specific models of the formation of the Yakut names of medicinal plants are identified, and the relation of the Yakut to nature is revealed through the prism of botanical terms.
