The article discusses the importance of the process of individualization of physical and psychological training of first - year cadets, provides some recommendations for minimizing the psychophysiological adaptation of cadets and effective mastery of the necessary professional skills. The substantiation of the importance and role of physical fitness as the basis of personal safety is given. In the given context, the analysis of the most relevant methods in the field of physical training is carried out, including independent physical exercises and working out situations of official activity in groups used by cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia as a factor in maintaining and developing their own indicators of physical fitness and physical qualities. The use of these methods is of practical importance in order to successfully perform everyday professional tasks in various conditions of service.
