Some issues of information support activity of operational units on the search for minors missing and arbitrarily left the family or specialized state institution

The article considers the issues of information support for the search for minors missing and arbitrarily left their families or specialized state institutions. Focusing on the problems of obtaining promptly rele vant information about the wanted persons by the officers of operational units the author comes to the conclusion that these activities should be aimed at providing the initial search information about the wanted person, and, consequently, the result - the location of a missing minor depends on the effectiveness of receiving, processing, retaining this information and prompt accessing to it. Measures to optimize the providing the search apparatus of the internal affairs bodies with up-to-date information about the wanted persons are suggested.
