Some issues of forensic characteristics of the investigation of evasion of military service

The article examines the forensic analysis of investigations into crimes under Part 1 of Article 328 of the Russian Criminal Code, involving the deliberate evasion of military service. The relevance of this study stems from the steady increase in the number of individuals deliberately avoiding military service, which requires refined forensic approaches to identifying and proving such acts. The aim of this study is to define the forensic characteristics of conscription evasion and identify factors influencing the effectiveness of an investigation. It concludes that the effectiveness of an investigation largely depends on the timely establishment of the crime's method of commission and a comprehensive assessment of the perpetrator's personality. The importance of an integrated forensic approach, ensuring the completeness, objectivity, and effectiveness of the investigation, is substantiated.
