Certain issues of detection and seizure of cash and other items of evidentiary value during the test drug purchase

Based on the analysis of decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation as well as of courts of general jurisdiction in criminal cases involving materials of test drug purchases, the author suggests possible ways of detecting and seizing money and other items of evidentiary value. Concepts of seizure and search during operational-search activities and their criteria are considered and defined in the article. Suggestions to improve legal regulation and the procedure for conducting test drug purchases are made.
