Some issues of protection of water biological resources of the Baikal region: administrative aspects

This article is devoted to some issues of protection of water biological resources of the Lake Baikal. In this article, the attention is paid to the legal protection of a special type of natural resources of the Baikal region. To this purpose, the overview of nature protection legislation, acts ensuring the application of administrative methods and forms of management, holding to the administrative responsibility for violations of the existing legislation are provided. Management innovations in the various forms of activities approved by the authorities are identified. An attempt to predict the development of this sector from introduction of innovations is made.
