Some issues of reflecting provisions of international treaties of the Russian Federation in its criminal legislation

This article deals with some issues related to the necessity to properly implement the provisions of the related international treaty obligations of the Russian Federation into its criminal law. These aspects should be taken into account both by law-makers and law-enforcement authorities in order to ensure the implementation of the obligations and the use of the rights derived from the Russian international treaties and to foster the international co-operation in combating transnational crime.
