Some issues of police officers' liability firearm-related harm

He comprehensive analysis of police officers' liability for firearm-related harm is presented in the article. The authors consider the issues of correlation between provisions of Civil and Criminal Codes of the Russian Federation as well as that of the Federal Law «On Police». The authors focus on particular questions of civil liability of police officers. Based on the research the authors propose some options for applying relevant legislation of the Russian Federation as well as certain ways to improve legislation and law enforcement practice.
