Some issues related to enacting the Criminal Code in Russia: retrospective analysis

The article considers the concept the enactment of a criminal law in a new way not as a one-time formal legal event, but as a set of measures aimed at its entry into force. The process of putting into effect all domestic criminal codes that have existed in the last 200 years is analyzed. The knowledge gained made it possible to identify positive and negative trends in such activity and to make a number of proposals to improve it.
