Some issues of criminal liability for crimes against sexual integrity and sexual freedom of the individual

The article is devoted to the problems of further improvement of the criminal legal counteraction to criminal encroachments on sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the person. This category of crimes requires the development of scientifically based recommendations to counter them, addressed both to the legislator in order to eliminate the shortcomings of the regulatory regulation of responsibility for these crimes, and to the law enforcement officer in order to correctly and uniformly apply the criminal law. The work carried out a criminological analysis of the experience of countering crimes of the noted category, as well as developed proposals for improving the legal regulation of responsibility for crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the person.
