German Diaspora of St. Petersburg: modern aspects of sociological study

Despite numerous researches, the phenomenon of diaspora has not been studied thoroughly yet, thus, it requires further consideration and clarification. The article discusses the phenomenon of diaspora by case study of German diaspora of St. Petersburg, which is analysed from both structural-functional and theoretical-methodological perspectives.
