German language novel 1980 - 2000: collection strategy

In this article the collection strategy as «collection of one's own self» is discussed using German language novel 1980 - 2000 as a primary source. In the situation of the «subject's death» the genuine artistic creation is replaced by the collection process. In the artistic space of the German language novel of the end of the XX century different collection patterns are present.
