The need for applying project management principles to increase the effectiveness of public programs

The article examines the transition of state programs of the Russian Federation and constituent entities of the Russian Federation to a new management system, which provides for a project “breakthrough” part. The main changes that will increase the efficiency of state programs of the Russian Federation and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are highlighted, and the advantages of the new procedure for managing state programs of the Russian Federation and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are indicated.
