The need for development of new mechanisms of the information society due to the appearance of the electronic government concept

The article considers the principle problems hindering the development of the electronic government system. The author justifies the need to develop the new mechanisms of information society for the rapid development of e-democracy in Russia. Experience has shown that the existing mechanisms are insufficient for the effective implementation and integration of the information technologies, taking into account the administrative changes that occur in the country.
