Neoliberalism as an ideology of stagnation of socio-economic development

The purpose of the article is to substantiate neoliberalism as an ideology of long-term socio-economic stagnation. The relevant methodological basis of the research is a logical-epistemological analysis of the relationship between economic ideology and economic dynamics within the unity of historical and logical, as well as qualitative and quantitative approaches to the problem. The novelty of the integral conclusions and provisions that characterize the system results of the research consists, first of all, in concretizing and actualizing the role of the ideational approach to the study of the “age-old stagnation” of socio-economic development; in addition, the systematic failure of neoliberal ideology and monetary practice as an axiological and practical basis for modern development is justified. The theoretical and applied significance of the article lies in the conclusion that it is necessary to develop a new ideological concept designed to replace the ideology of neoliberalism with the scientific concept of humanistic Economics.
