Neologisms in the era of information technology

The article discusses the fast pace of neologisms introduction, in connection with the development of information technology in the everyday life of society. The analysis of scientific articles, textbooks of linguists is made. It has shown that new lexical units, both registered in the dictionary of new words and unregistered, are functioning almost unlimited. Most of the terms in the field of information technology are neologisms, as this area is a dynamic and a new one. The article reveals methods of scientific and technical terms word formation. New terms have been selected and registered, as well as new terms are described in the field of information and telecommunication technologies. The classification of terms in the field of information technology by the process of word ^ formation is developed.
