Inalienable and alien in the perspective of openness/closure contemporary cultures

Openness/closedness is considered in the article as a dynamic factor reflecting the nature of inalienable and alien interaction in complex heterogeneous cultures. Variability resolution inalienable asymmetry and alien associated with such parameters as: the degree of stiffness of the boundaries that protect the identity of the culture; the inalienable character of protection and the degree of obligation of the life forms that declare “authentic”; the choice between preservation of culture and its development based on novel reinterpretations of heritage; it is a centralized or decentralized nature of regulation of culture. The author proves the thesis that social system, closing inalienable for its cultural values and meanings, risks losing access to its own cultural traditions.
