Non-authentic: the concept’s content

The relevance of the study is determined by the enduring multi-vector significance of the philosophical search in the field of existential foundations of human existence. The study is aimed at revealing the key details of the content of non-authenticity concept and its connection with other elements of the conceptual and terminological apparatus of philosophy. Carrying out research, we proceeded from the idea that the dialectics of the non-authentic is the foundation for the existence of both the human and the world in which he lives. The article searches for possible applications of the concept of non-authenticity. These options are proposed taking into account the presence of different ideas about the essence of the non-authentic and its correlation with the authentic. The action of the will is often accompanied by emotions. A non-authentic state can arise due to the temptation of a person to perceive other people’s emotions as his own. The idea that social imitation is a system-forming feature of modern Russian society plays an important role in this study. It has penetrated into almost all spheres of public life and has strengthen in them. We have established that many philosophers describe non-authenticity as alienation and impersonality, turning human life into “fearful troubles”. In this case, a person sacrifices his own freedom for the sake of security. The research results include identification, comprehension and comparison of the existing content of non-authenticity and options for its use by various representatives of philosophy. The scientific significance of the article lies in a detailed examination of the non-authentic from the philosophical perspective. In addition, we have emphasized certain aspects of non-authenticity existence within the sociocultural space. The results of the study can be used in research devoted to the correlation of the authentic and non-authentic in the life of a person, culture and society.
