Continuous education as a social and pedagogical problem

The article deals with the continuous education, including additional one, in the national educational system. The author describes in detail the system of additional continuous education, established on the basis of Kamchatka State University and focused on providing consulting and educational services to all segments of the Kamchatka region population aged from 3 to 65 years old, which consists of five major divisions. The system of additional continuous education, being innovative in the contents, for five years solves a number of important social, pedagogical and economic problems of Kamchatka Krai.
