The nerkayu metamorphic complex in the Polar Urals

The results of the study of structural features and material composition of metamorphic rocks of the high-pressure Nerkayu complex in the Subpolar Urals are given. Based on the analysis of petrogeochemical data, the conclusion about formation of the protoliths of metamorphic rocks in the setting of continental rifting and the subsequent formation of the back-arc sea is done.
