The spread of non-standard employment has become an international problem of concern to professionals, as many of its forms negatively affect the use of labor resources. In Russia, it is mainly concentrated in small businesses, in which employment, and hence its non-standard forms have a tendency to expand. The article is devoted to analysis of these forms in small business, their interrelation and the relation of workers to them. The statistical base of the research is the information collected by a questionnaires filled out by those employed in small business in Moscow in 2015. The analysis revealed that non-standard forms such as part-time and over-employment, temporary and informal employment, which tend to overlap, are the most common among employees. The phenomena of a "shadow" employment and little-known fictitious self-employment, which are of a temporary nature and are more inherent in the informal sector, are also examined. It is established that the relation of workers to participation in non-standard employment in the basic differs little from the attitude to standard forms. Moreover, such form as moderate over-employment received the highest estimations. This is due to the fact that it is mainly permanent and provides wages, which satisfy employees more. At the same time, they recognize that their work involves heavy workloads that are unfavourable to their labor potential. Judging from the estimates of wages and work in general, as well as the readiness for labor mobility, the most undesirable forms of non-standard employment should be attributed to very low employment and extreme over-employment. Other non-standard forms of labor regimes, subject to compliance with labor legislation, can be considered acceptable for certain socio-demographic groups.
