The articleis devoted to the analysis of the scientific school created by jne of the outstanding Russian bibliographer S. Trubnikov. The review of the dissertation research carried out under the scientific supervision of S. A. Trubnikov at the Department of branch bibliography of the Moscow state Institute of culture and defended in the period from 1969 to 1986 is presented. S. Trubnikov's contribution to the development of scientific personnel in the field of bibliography of fiction and art is estimated.
