The article discusses a new and rapidly developing phenomenon of "networking". Networking as a management tool is referred in form to business communications, the content of which can be the implementation of any management function. The key task of networking is to integrate contacts into a global network in order to effectively achieve the goals set. In Russia, this phenomenon is quite new and not adapted to the socio-cultural peculiarities of people's thinking. It is necessary to create conditions for an objective understanding and rational use of networking in professional activity.
