The unfading power of the North Caucasian fairy-tale folklore for the spiritual and moral development of children (through the prism of time)

The article is devoted to the rich educational potential of fairy-tale folklore that has existed for centuries among the peoples of the North Caucasus. The main emphasis is placed on the classification characteristics of fairy tales. The novelty of the study lies in the author's interpretation of the socio-pedagogical specifics of mountain folklore, clarifying the educational possibilities of folk tales in the process of development of the younger generation, both in the past and in the present. It is concluded that the autochthons of the North Caucasus have long developed their own original educational imperative, which was passed on to the next generations through folklore, where fairy tales played a leading role, therefore the latter are so diverse and contain valuable information about the life, customs and customs of the Caucasian peoples. And in the modern world, the values of fairy-tale folklore have not lost their relevance. With the help of fairy tales, the morality of which is embedded in the plot, we can educate children in humanity, mercy, spirituality, and prevent empathy from being crushed by the realities of a tough life. The article is intended for specialists in the field of education.
