Non-verbal greeting methods in Kyrgyz and English languages

The article investigates non-verbal greeting methods in Kyrgyz and English cultures, as well as their social and cultural significance. The aim of the study is to identify the similarities and differences in these non-verbal forms of greeting. The research methods are literature analysis and comparative analysis. The study found that in Kyrgyz culture, non-verbal forms of greeting such as hugs, nods, and handshakes are common, symbolizing respect and friendliness, while in English culture, handshakes historically had a formal character but have become more common over time. The findings highlight the uniqueness of each culture.
