The Folklore texts about an “invisible people ” were written down in the Maslyaninsky district of the Novosibirsk region during the field research by author. An informants are the residents of several villages, the descendants of migrants from Polesie at the beginning of the 20th century. Archaic elements of Slavic mythology are well preserved In Polisie. The author had recorded narratives about contacts with invisible spirits, about people who were abducted by them, about their origin and life in the another world. Invisibility is a attribute that emphasizes the character 's belonging to the another world, separates him from the world of people, symbolizes his incorporeality. The antiquity of the archetypal conception of another world probably provided the viability of symbols associated with another world, and was reflected in an ethnic oral tradition.
