Illegal retail of alcoholic and alcoholic food products: some problems of application of the regulation

The relevance of the topic of this study is confirmed by the growth of crimes prohibited by Article 1714 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The article provides a criminal-legal characteristic of the corpus delicti provided for by this norm, and also notes a number of problematic points associated with its application. It is proposed to exclude from the disposition of the article such a sign of a crime as retail, to replace the word “sale” with the term “sales”, which, in the author's opinion, will provide more effective counteraction to the crime under investigation.
