Illegal production of narcotic drugs: proving guilt

The article is devoted to the problem of the lack of a fully developed methodology for investigating illegal drug production carried out by organized criminal groups, consisting of «organizer», «operator», «supplier», «chemist» and «cooker». The functions of the latter («cooker») are revealed in production of narcotic drugs in «design laboratories», «kitchen laboratories» and «laboratories for designer drugs production». The body of evidence, necessary to establish «cooker» involvement in drug production, is substantiated. The specifics and role of certain operational-search measures, investigative actions and importance of forensic examinations are revealed in order to complete the tactical task «Proving guilt» in relation to «cooker».
