The independence of judges in the modern constitutional model of the Russian legal statehood

This article analyses the constitutional principle of independence of judges and their submission only to the Constitution of the Russian Federation and to the federal law, shortcomings and problems at its realisation in modern Russia are brought to light, and possible ways of their elimination and practical solution are offered.
