Nikephoros Blemmydes and his “Commentary on the psalms” (preface to the publication and translation)

The article publishes a translation of a fragment of a work called “Commentary on the Psalms”, which is attributed to the outstanding Byzantine scholar, philosopher and theologian, Hieromonk Nikephoros Blemmydes (1197-1272). In the preface to the publication, given is a brief outline of his life and work, as well as information about the work “Commentary on the Psalms” and a philological commentary on the translation.
