Nikolay Ivanovich Vavilov in Uruguay

The last N.I. Vavilov's foreign trip (to Latin America in 1932-1933) had not described in Science till now. The author made an attempt to fill this gap during the trip to Uruguay to find the evidences of Soviet Scientist's Residence in this country. The author had met the people having kept N.I. Vavilov's Archives which could help describe his part of life in Latin America and also specify Latin American Scientists' estimate of his activities.
